Drawing my design flat.

I decided to create my design flat on both Photoshop and Illustrator as I think this gives the most exact and clear representation of my design, so that it is clear and easy to read for the pattern cutter.

This is the dress I have designed, and you can see that this would be hard to interpret into a pattern without more information.

The first flat I created wasn't representing my design clear enough, as the pattern cutter and I developed the design together, so that it would get a stronger overall look.

Below is my second and I final flat and I think this represents my dress clearly, and gives the pattern cutter clear information. It was the design of the back of the garment in particular we developed as it has more panels than the front but still gives the same overall look.
